FIDELITY OPTIMALITY
Machine learning supported optimization tool
Optimality Intelligent System Explorer enables the multi-disciplinary analysis and optimization of CFD workflows. It allows to optimize your design quickly and efficiently using state-of-the-art optimization strategies.
Starting from FineTurbo version 2024.2, Optimality is directly coupled to FineTurbo and can be used to optimize your turbomachinery design. In the FineTurbo toolbar, select Plugins > Launch_Optimality. This option will open the Optimality Setup window in which all info is collected to define the turbomachinery workflow used in the optimization. The turbomachinery workflow consists of a parametric modeler generating a design that is further analyzed with AutoGrid5, FineTurbo and Cfview.
The info is imported in Optimality and the Optimality GUI is launched. In the Optimality interface one can specify the design parameters that needs to be optimized as well as the optimization goal(s), possible constraints and optimization setup. The optimization is launched using the state-of-the-art exploration strategies, surrogate models and optimization algorithms.
The available data-analysis tools allow to follow and analyze the optimization results during or at the end of the optimization.
